Against all the odds given the awful weather we had a successful Eastbourne at the AEGON International Tennis Tournament.     It was lovely to have so many players visit our stand and buy gifts for themselves and their friends.     Our wonderful ‘Never Too Late’ watches remain the flavour of the month and have already been spotted on court at Wimbledon!      The green one is being featured in You Magazine on Sunday!!     I am off for a bit or R and R in Greece and will hopefully gain inspiration from my beautiful garden!

We are very excited as we have just finished shooting our 2011 Autumn Catalogue! This year the catalogue theme is nature and all the photos have been taken in a beautiful garden in the Oxford countryside.  The garden was filled with beautiful flowers and wonderful fields of wild daisies and lavender, the perfect setting for our new collections. Yesterday, the Argent of London “pop-up shop” appeared in Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire at a sale to raise money for Help for Heroes.   Many of our products were reduced to crazily low prices in an effort to raise as much as possible.   The sun was shining and everyone was out hunting for bargains as well as doing some scarily early Christmas shopping!   Leather bracelets seemed to be the favourite item as well as anything colourful to brighten up an outfit.   We will next be popping up at Loseley Park, Guildford to raise money for Action Medical Research May Fair , please come along and see us there!

We have all had our eyes glued to the exciting new trends emerging this London Fashion week!   From exotic fruit to block colour to highlighter pen fluoro, it couldn’t be a more refreshing change from everyones dreary winter wardrobes.   We have chosen a selection of our favourite Spring jewels for you to team up with these new trends.   Isn’t it lucky we’re always so ahead of the game…

Valentine's Day seems busier than ever this year.   Murano glass hearts, Silver petal hearts and our Enamel Heart pendants are all flying out of the shop, which has made us all wonder where and when exactly Valentines Day originated?  Amazingly, it dates back to a priest called " Valentine" who was working under the strict rule of Emperor Claudius II.   According to the legend, Valentine strongly disagreed with Claudius' rule that soldiers couldn't get married and so he started performing secret weddings for couples. He is said to have been caught and sentenced to death on February 14th but before he died he wrote a love letter an unknown woman which he signed "from your Valentine."  The church later made him the patron saint of lovers for upholding the divine right of marriage and made February 14th St. Valentine's Day. So now you know!

Just had a weekend in glorious sunshine the other side of the Channel which makes me think Spring/Summer not so far away!  Currently working on a couple of new designs featuring my favourite stone – aquamarine! – one with olive leaves and the other incorporating sea shells.  Both of these should be on our website within 2 weeks, which is very exciting.  We will almost certainly feature them initially in 18 ct gold on silver so that they are really affordable.  But of course pure gold is always an option!

Excitement levels are at an all time high here, as this month we launch our fab new watch collection!   The “Too Late Mash Up” watches are quirky, original and set to be the summer must have accessory.   Available in white, black and an array of neon colours, the tricky decision is which colour to choose.   Nicky Harley, Stylist at The Sun, spied them yesterday and has already featured the Neon Blue watch in “5 of the best…Colour Accessories” out today!    Order yours before its Too Late!

This is my favourite time of year  - the frenetic rush of Christmas behind us and time for me to be a bit more creative! I am off to Italy at the weekend and will be seeing a couple of my favourite people so that we can work on new designs for the summer. I am thinking along the lines of multi strand bracelets – maybe very fine leather with the opportunity to attach beautiful semi precious coloured drop pendants.       Watch this space!
