In Decembers issue of SW Magazine they have featured our stunning Tuscany wrap around Italian leather and Silver bracelets in the gift guide for girls! The perfect Christmas present this year!

Recently a lot of our customers have said that the price of gold is getting too high and asked what they can wear instead?
We are very excited to launch the perfect alternative - our "Gold Fill" Collection - this is a 9ct gold & copper mix which as opposed to "Gold Plate" (gold on silver), this will not rub off & lose its colour..
The perfect solution and no one will know it isnt the real thing! (well our lips are sealed anyway...)
Our favourite piece is our pretty gold fill chain available in any length and starting from £50, this is ideal for hanging pendants onto.

Pearls of Wisdom

With the sun shining and everyone gingerly revisiting their summer wardrobes, its time to find some perfect summer jewellery to complete the look and make you stand out!
Pearls are the answer.  They are a product of nature and one of the oldest gems, if not the oldest, known to man.  Their beauty is principally in their unique iridescence, and a pearl will literally ‘glow’ on the wearer.
Although we would love to take the credit, this is no new discovery as pearls have been a timeless symbol of style for many years and theres a good reason for this.  Through the centuries, pearls have played a central role in fashion and refinement and have been favoured by many style leaders such as Queen Elizabeth I, Coco Chanel, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and most recently the late Princess Diana. They do wonders for the complexion, so next time you need a lift, simply put on a pair of pearl earrings teamed with a bracelet or even a long pearl necklace with a pearl ring and …

Be My Valentine

Valentine's Day seems busier than ever this year.   Murano glass hearts, Silver petal hearts and our Enamel Heart pendants are all flying out of the shop, which has made us all wonder where and when exactly Valentines Day originated?  Amazingly, it dates back to a priest called "Valentine" who was working under the strict rule of Emperor Claudius II.   According to the legend, Valentine strongly disagreed with Claudius' rule that soldiers couldn't get married and so he started performing secret weddings for couples. He is said to have been caught and sentenced to death on February 14th but before he died he wrote a love letter an unknown woman which he signed "from your Valentine."  The church later made him the patron saint of lovers for upholding the divine right of marriage and made February 14th St. Valentine's Day.
So now you know!

Gail's February Travels

Just had a weekend in glorious sunshine the other side of the Channel which makes me think Spring/Summer not so far away!  Currently working on a couple of new designs featuring my favourite stone – aquamarine! – one with olive leaves and the other incorporating sea shells.  Both of these should be on our website within 2 weeks, which is very exciting.  We will almost certainly feature them initially in 18 ct gold on silver so that they are really affordable.  But of course pure gold is always an option!

Gail's January News

This is my favourite time of year  - the frenetic rush of Christmas behind us and time for me to be a bit more creative! I am off to Italy at the weekend and will be seeing a couple of my favourite people so that we can work on new designs for the summer. I am thinking along the lines of multi strand bracelets – maybe very fine leather with the opportunity to attach beautiful semi precious coloured drop pendants.
